Erasmus - Student Exchange Programme

For more information on the Erasmus exchange program for students of the B.S., M.S. and teachers' (LA) programs in Biology at the University of Cologne, please come to my office hour or send an email to arrange for an appointment.

Closing dates for applications for students of Cologne University who wish to go abroad via the Erasmus program ("outgoing students")

  • SS 2016: Application before 1. October 2015 (Denmark and Sweden: until 15. September 2015)

For your initial contact please fill out the form and send it by mail to twiehe(at) or as a postal letter to T. Wiehe, Institut für Genetik, Zülpicher Straße 47a, 50674 Köln, or hand it over during consultation hours.

Required documents for the application (to be turned in before the closing date for applications to Prof. Dr. T. Wiehe, Inst. f. Genetik):

  • CV, in tablular form (English or German)

  • BS: transcripts, LA: grading of the intermediate examination, Dipl: Vordiplomzeugnis

  • Letter of motivation (max. 2 pages, A4)
